Today, New York band youbet have shared “Undefined,” the final single from their highly anticipated new self-titled album, due out May 1st via Hardly Art. The broiling new single draws from that personal soul-searching, a musical mosaic of life before and after a complicated breakup. The gorgeously patient track carefully balances art pop experimentalism with power pop hookiness in its widescreen chorus.
"I wrote Undefined while waiting for a guitar student and started to work out this interesting melody and chords,” shares vocalist and guitarist Nick Llobet. “The verse came quick which isn’t always the case with my songwriting, sometimes it takes me a while to develop a fully fledged section of a song. Things that come this naturally to me usually make the cut in terms of what I want to play with the band live or record."
