youbet Shares Live Version of “Vacancy” From Way To Be

Hardly Art’s youbet is sharing a live version of “Vacancy,” a standout from Way To Be, ahead of their summer 2024 tour dates. Touring in support of the record begins Sunday, June 23rd, with an album release show at TV Eye in Ridgewood, NY (with Crosslegged and Iceblink). See the full list of tour 2024 dates here, which includes shows with Truth Club and Sour Widows.

Way To Be is the label debut from youbet, led by Brooklyn resident Nick Llobet (they/them), with live members Micah Prussack (Bass) and Joanna Quinn (Drums).  The album was written and produced by Llobet, mixed by Adam Brisbin, and mastered by Amar Lal at Macro Sound. Across 12 delightfully off-kilter tunes including singles  "Carsick," "Nurture," "Seeds of Evil,"  "Vacancy," and “Peel,” Way To Be is a bridge into the entrancing world of youbet.

“Way to Be, showcases Llobet’s increasingly confident vocals and complex instrumental work while continuing to test the limits of a pop song – devilishly careening between moments of anger, confusion, innocence, and pure wonder.” Our Culture
