Cool, which features official videos for “I Wanna Be a Dog”, “It’s Nice to Be Nice”, and “Highway”,  and a fourth single “Someone Else,” was declared one of the “Best Underrated Albums of 2021” by Pitchfork staff, and one of the best albums of the year by Magnet Magazine.

Cool is Green’s first record since her acclaimed 2015 release I Want To Grow Up. It was produced by Gordon Raphael and Green, mixed by Brendan Eder, recorded at Southern California studios comp-ny (Glendale) and Tenement Yard (North Hollywood), and mastered by Frida Claeson Johansson at Svenska Grammofonstudion in Gothenburg, Sweden.

What People Are Saying About Cool:
Cool is not only a masterful release sonically, but it strikes a cosmic chord that few releases can hit.” Punk News

“A great summer indie pop album.” ★★★★ MOJO

“Cool’s sharp pop unfolds with a satisfying lightness of touch.” ★★★★ DIY

“The songs on Cool are rooted in confidence and honesty, steeped in indie-rock attitude and glossed over in a groovy sheen. The lead single “I Wanna Be a Dog” is a blissful rocker about — quite literally — aspiring to be a canine, brimming with sunniness…” Rolling Stone

“Green commandeers her forces, keeps things simple, and makes irresistibly confident and sharp guitar pop. Addictive.” The Wire

“If I Wanna Grow Up was about exorcising internal angst, Cool is about contending with frustration from outside sources, from expectations, from the often-crushing weight of the world. But there’s a palpable sense of grounded triumph on Cool. The album feels like less the angst of rock and roll and more the shrug of punk.” - NYLON
